The book is in color, so for the best impact it would be good for the pictures to be in color as well.

How to handle photographs?

Personal Photo.  A color photo of you would be best. You can either scan one in tiff format or send me the original and I can scan it. (a Photoshop format file works as well)   Photos in jpeg  (.jpg) or .gif formant do not work. These formats that works best on the internet but the quality is not high enough for print media. A .tiff format image will be several megabytes in size. 

To mail the photo, Send it to.

To scan and send. The photo should be scanned at high resolution, which will make the file several megabytes and it will be to large to email. We have an ftp server that you can send it to.

The ftp server is address is  ftp://63.203.228.202    You can use Internet Explorer to ftp or you can use you own ftp software. Below are the steps to ftp.

First send me an email and I will send you the:

User Name: contributor

Password: *********

If you use Internet Explorer to ftp, follow these steps. Place the address in the window like this.

A window like this will pop up asking for User Name: and Password:

Add the the User Name: and Password: that we send you.

You will then see the following. You can just drag and drop your images directly into the webpage and they will be copied over.

You file should then show up in the folder.
