2/7/01 meeting at the Brain
Exchange, brainstorming group.
The question I posed was: "What art activities could
we create that can be used to explore a theme like Inspiration."
- Tape a paper on your back put your fear, regret, inspiration,
etc. on it. Then what?
- Make a movie
- Create a shrine to your muse
- Create an inspiration object
- Use clay and found objects
- Create a piece of art on some else's story of inspiration
- Morphological guide
- create inspiration stack cookies, fruit carving, juggling
- Use collage
- Group painting
- Do improv - state a problem and act it out.
- Do worm up activities
- Take photos - write a short story about it. then some take the story and
draw a picture.
- Go to different location.
- Create a group story or drawing in the sand, make sand castles
- create driftwood art.
- do a dance, with various ways of walking
- meet in the middle of the night when creativity is flowing.
- create a new inspirational language
- drink lots of wine
- propose a concept before you meet next time.

- volunteer to solve a community problem, like world peace.
- need a personal touch. Joy called a couple of people and that encouraged
them to come.. "it tipped the balance" s someone said. create a
phone tree, gives people a chance to call and talk to each other.
