Subject: Call for TAOLB Video DVD Project

Greetings to TAOLB Participating Artists!

As you have probably already heard from Rae Louise Hayward, Richmond Art Center members Edwin Rutsch and Joan Kuenz will be making a Video Documentary DVD of the 10th Anniversary of  TAOLB Exhibit. The goal is to create a video DVD about the artists taking part in the 10th Anniversary TAOLB Exhibition with their stories and insights into the creative process. We will be video taping all aspects of the exhibit, including: workshops, artworks, art installations, receptions, artists in their studios, personal interviews, etc. The video should give added visibility to the exhibit and added exposure to participating artists. Some of the artists' stories may also be included in a documentary Edwin and Joan are making about the Spirit of Inspiration.

If you are interested in participating, we will interview artists in a Video Interview Workshop to be held at the Richmond Art Center. We are planning some art activities that will assist each artist in telling their personal story of inspiration. The workshop will be free, and each interview session will consist of 2 meetings. There is space for up to 10 artist per session. The TAOLB Interview Workshop dates are as follows.

Session 1, Richmond Art Center -Painting Studio, (FULL)
    Meeting 1: Sunday, Jan 22, 1-4:30 pm
    Meeting 2: Sunday, Jan 29, 1-4:30 pm

Session 2, Richmond Art Center Silk - Screen Studio, (FULL)
    Meeting 1: Sunday, Feb 12, 1-4:30 pm
    Meeting 2: Sunday, Feb 26, 1-4:30 pm

Session 3, Richmond Art Center - Painting Studio, (FULL)
    Meeting 1: Sunday, March 26, 1-4:30 pm
    Meeting 2: Sunday, April 2, 1-4:30 pm

Session 4  (up to 10 artists)
Sessions 1, 2 and 3 are full. If you would still like to take part in the interview workshop then sign up for Session 4. After February, we will do our best to set up another workshop, which will possibly be held in May.
