Making a Poem of the "Theme"

Activities:

Participants write the theme on paper, create an original poem, or the facilitator of the group discusses a poem to assist participants to write their own prose on the "theme"
Each individual can write a poem and upload their work to HumanityQuest.Com to be posted on the website and share with the online group interested in that value.
Each individual can evaluate and discuss works created in the group or displayed on the site with other participants.

Each individual can evaluate the process of participating in the activity and offer suggestions in the feed back form.

Extension Activities:

Write the "theme' with synonyms and antonyms on paper and create a poem that relates to the same or opposite theme.
Upload the work to HumanityQuest.Com to be posted on the website and share with the online group interested in that value.
Write a Haiku. A Haiku is a poem that has 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, line 2 has 7 syllables, line 3 has 5 syllables. It also uses a nature metaphor. Write a Haiku about optimism.
